Dr Callum Yates is a cardiologist who combines specialist expertise with a practical and patient-centred approach to care. Originally from regional Queensland, he is committed to improving access to specialist cardiology services for patients living in regional communities.

Dr Yates completed his medical degree in 2017 before undertaking residency and cardiology training across several major Queensland hospitals, including the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Toowoomba Hospital.
He has developed broad experience in general cardiology and is currently based in Melbourne undertaking further subspecialty training in cardiac implantable electronic devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapy through a dedicated pacing fellowship.
Outside of medicine, Dr Yates enjoys swimming in both the pool and open water, and spending time staying active with his young family and their two groodles.
Dr Yates consults with Access Cardiology for patients in Albany via telehealth, where he is committed to providing personalised, evidence-based care and improving access to specialist cardiology services for regional communities.
