July 2024 marks the 10th Anniversary of the opening of Access Cardiology. We have grown from humble beginnings in our rooms in Hollywood Medical Centre to now having 10 locations. However, our mission remains the same, to provide equitable access to cardiac healthcare services.
Access Cardiology was founded by Cardiologists, A/Prof Michael Nguyen and Dr Justin Ng. Their vision was to ensure that quality cardiac care is accessible to everyone.
Expanding specialist services
In 2018 and 2019 we saw the company expand to support a wider variety of specialists with the introduction of Access Doctors and Access Vascular. These services allowed us to offer comprehensive care beyond just cardiology. Integrating multiple specialties under one umbrella has allowed us deliver more coordinated, efficient, and holistic care to our patients.
Commitment to Access
From our opening in 2014 to today, we have offered bulk billed cardiac testing at all our locations. This commitment to affordable testing ensures our patients receive the necessary services without the burden of out-of-pocket expenses. Over the years we have performed thousands of tests, including echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and Holter monitoring, aimed at early detection, prevention, and effective management of cardiac conditions.
In 2016, we opened our Albany rooms, providing access to quality cardiac care in a regional community.
