Dr Justin Teng is a talented and dedicated imaging cardiologist specialising in echocardiography and cardiac CT.

A Perth local, he grew up in the southern suburbs, completing medical school at the University of Western Australia and his physician training at Royal Perth Hospital. For general cardiology training he worked across the three major tertiary hospitals as well as the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation service at Fiona Stanley Hospital. During his training he developed a passion for non-invasive cardiac imaging, publishing and presenting in this field on a national and international level. To further his knowledge, he undertook the American Board of Echocardiography examination achieving a result within the top 6% of cardiologists worldwide and also attended course training in cardiac CT at the Australian Institute of Cardiovascular CT.

He undertook a fellowship training in non-invasive cardiac imaging at MonashHEART in Melbourne, one of the largest cardiac imaging centres in Australia, furthering his expertise in advanced echocardiography techniques such as stress echocardiography, strain imaging, complex structural cardiac diseases, 3D echo analysis, intra-procedural transoesophageal echocardiography (ASD/PFO closure, LAA occlusion devices, TAVI and MitraClip) as well as functional and structural cardiac CT analysis.
